FUORI PORTA

FUORI PORTA literally means ’Out of the door’ which is the Italian expression for a day trip, usually with family or friends and includes a picnic or lunch in a local trattoria.
This range of wines captures the Italian spirit of how to enjoy a day out, from morning to late night.
It shows the unexpected versatility of the Sangiovese grape varietal, which is vinified in three different ways: White, Rosé and Red.

This Sangiovese has a straw yellow colour with golden hues.
On the nose, it has an elegant bouquet of citrus and yellow apple, with hints of fresh, white flowers. On the palate, it is fragrant with balanced acidity and minerality, yellow fruit and herbaceous notes, medium-body and good length.
To be paired with classic dishes such as tortellini with butter and sage, and also with deep-fried fish, vegetable tempura or roast chicken.

An enchanting, vibrant, antique pink colour. On the nose, aromas of red berry fruits such as wild strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant, cherry and pomegranate. A lively rosato, crisp and well-balanced, with a fresh cherry finish.
Simply perfect with Mortadella salami or Parma ham, but also to be enjoyed as an aperitif or with salmon, seafood linguine or chicken.

Sangiovese Rubicone IGP Rosato

This Sangiovese has an intense, ruby red colour with purple hues. The bouquet is floral and fruity with notes of violets, cherries and plums. On the palate, it is well-balanced with fine tannins and hints of fresh red berries, with a refreshing finish.
Perfect with lasagne, antipasti of cold meats, roast beef and cheese.
